Dr. Elisabeth Zoffmann is an experienced
psychiatrist with preferred areas of practice in Forensic,
General Adult and Occupational Psychiatry.
Dr. Zoffmann is a Clinical Assistant Professor
of Psychiatry at the University of British Columbia, Department
of Forensic Psychiatry. She teaches seminars in forensic psychiatry
and psychotherapy to psychiatry residents.
Dr. Zoffmann’s forensic practice extends
to evaluations on risk assessment, psychiatric issues in personal
injury, psychiatric disability assessments, Mental Health
Act review panels, Dangerous Offender Application assessments,
Criminal Responsibility assessments, Fitness to Stand Trial
assessments, Rehabilitation/Disability tribunals and related
rehabilitation and employment law.
Dr. Zoffmann has been accepted as an expert
witness in many contexts. These include Review Board tribunals,
Coroner’s Court, Supreme Court (criminal and civil)
hearings, College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia
hearings and Mediation Panels.
